The Onyx is a type of semi-precious stone and a cryptocrystalline form of quartz. Characteristic of it are the different thickness and color stripes. The Onyx is found in different colour ranges and can be translucent. This makes it suitable for embedding backlight. Most often it is used for making wall cladding, furniture and architectural details.
